@AnthonyDabbundo Almost all of my friends in high school then college played fifa back in those days atleast casually, some more so, and I’m sure they all knew of Ivory Coast. One of the more popular picks back then
@SupernerdLandon@MatthewMKE98 Yeah maybe 10 was a little low but honestly not that much difference between a 6-10 seed in the tourney, they have similar chances of making a deep run
@aphillip712@LFC_Dmg@ManagerTactical These aren’t friendlies, this is the World Cup. No one is benching their best players for 2 of 3 group stage matches due to fear of injury. If he gets hurt you move to plan b but that goes for any starter
@MatthewMKE98 lol yeah or like a mid level big conference team with some nice pieces but not really comparable on paper to the big dogs. We should at the very least make it interesting for a little
@Huthisback It was the same situation last World Cup and we drew with USA probably having the better chance of winning that one. On a good day and a little luck we could beat you in a one off but obviously you’re better on paper by a lot
@MattGAuthor@soccerpaedia It’s not really the American people way though, you’ll get a lot of the same type of complaints here in different forms. We’re (meaning every day people) are a lot more similar than you think.
@TomeiTyler@nd_winencheese We unfortunately don’t have reliable public transit and rely on personal transportation for the most part. Even so we do have some stadiums like that other than college ones - Wrigley Field for example
@B3rk3l3yHunt@soccerpaedia 😂 I think you’ll find a good portion of American people also make fun of the Americans that think this way also…Lots of morons here just like everywhere. Then there’s some that like to take the piss as you would say I think? With the most annoying American generalizations
@MattGAuthor@soccerpaedia I agree…I’m in NJ and Jets and Giants fans hate MetLife stadium for the most part because of this reason even though there’s nothing really bad about it, it’s just blah. What most people have said already though is the best EPL stadium comparisons would be our college stadiums
