AI for video editing just got better!

We at https://t.co/S1QrIAe2fz built a super cool hack for #DaVinciResolve.

Eddie is your AI assistant video editor. And of course an AE needs to log footage!!

B-roll logging uses computer vision to analyze clips and then organize these clips into logical groupings. It then sends detailed and searchable metadata to your NLE like Adobe and FCP.

The challenge with Resolve is the way in which it imports XMLs as either a media bin or a single timeline. Even then, it didn’t import all the rich metadata Eddie creates.

It was a real PITA.

But we built a cool solution using Resolve’s scripting functionality! Watch this!!
