One of my biggest pet peeves in politics is when Democrats like Elizabeth Warren and Elissa Slotkin use the same deceptive phrase:

“I don’t take corporate PAC money.”

Let’s be crystal clear—it is illegal under state and federal law for candidates to accept corporate money. Period. PAC or not, they legally can’t take it.

So what’s the game they’re playing?

1️⃣ They say they don’t take corporate PAC money, knowing full well that no candidate can under the law.

2️⃣ Meanwhile, an “outside” Super PAC—which CAN take corporate donations—is set up to support their campaigns.

3️⃣ Since candidates and Super PACs can’t legally coordinate, they pretend they have no connection.

4️⃣ 100% of that Super PAC’s spending goes toward electing them anyway.

It’s smoke and mirrors—a dishonest political charade that the mainstream media refuses to call out.

Democrats aren’t rejecting corporate money—they’re just laundering it through Super PACs while pretending to be holier-than-thou. Don’t fall for it.

Up for grabs is:

❎ U.S. Senate Seat (open)
❎ 3 Competitive U.S. House Seats - Barrett (MI-7), James (MI-10), and Rivet (MI-8)

❎ Governor (open)
❎ Attorney General (open)
❎ Secretary of State (open)

❎ Two MI Supreme Court Seats

❎ Every Member of the MI House (currently controlled by Republicans)
❎ Every Member of the MI Senate (currently controlled by Democrats)

❎ A vote on whether we call for a new State Constitutional Convention

And we could also see:

⚠️ A referenda on changes to pick sick leave & minimum/tipped wage laws
⚠️ A Constitutional amendmemt requiring photo ID to vote
⚠️ A Constitutional amendment clarifying that only U.S. citizens can vote in state elections
⚠️ A Constitutional amendment adopting ranked choice voting
⚠️ A Constitutional amendment limiting certain campaign contributions

This is a big deal. While the feds are limited in what they can do, they should not be subsidizing the destruction of our rural communities. That leads to Gotion. That leads to massive solar "farms" in our rural neighborhoods in Eaton and Livingston Counties. Cut the funding.
