@bpfta Two WW2 Late Arrivals club badges, awarded to aircrew who managed to evade back to their units after being downed over enemy territory. The righthand belonging to F/Sgt. Ron Emeny, the last evader to cross the Pyrenees via the Comete Line on D-Day 6th June 1944.

A notorious faker on eBay and an auction house in Bristol have been robbing people by selling blatantly fake and total fantasy E&E items at huge cost! Both have been reported to police and eBay, but no action taken!

I cannot believe how Bad @British_airways has become. If you call now, their phone system hangs up on you and the 4 times I have called, each agent has Not fixed my issue. Their Twitter feed simply does nothing! Add to that constant cancellations and you may as well fly EasyJet!!

Another amazing MI9 escape device, the playing card map. The full deck contained one complete map of Germany (or wherever required). The cards were soaked in water, the card face would soak off revealing the map tile inside. Not for navigation, but for copying for future escapers

Very sorry to hear of the death of Caroline Grace last Friday, and sadly ironic that she learned to fly her distinctive two-seater Spitfire, regularly seen in the skies over Suffolk, following the death of her husband, Nick, in the same tragic way in 1988.
