@micra2020 Hey @micra2020, it's a shame but it can't be helped. We all look forward to the time when everyone can get together again. Excited to see who the new participants will be, and what your equivalents are of Welsh cakes and a male voice choir 😀
Dear All, very sadly it still hasn't been possible to gather everyone for an in person meeting in Sept 2021 / a difficult decision to postpone again has been made - hopefully things with Covid-19 will improve soon, but watch out for more information.
Please retweet😊: After the sucess of our first research project published in @angew_chem, we are at it again, this time exploring effects of COViD on the suprachem community. So if you are a supramolecular chemist please contribute your story here: https://t.co/9sDUmm4d7M
Calling all ‘recently appointed’* inorganic chemists! Registration for MICRA2020 will be opening very soon at https://t.co/iFSjxEe5tx. 7th-9th Sept are the important dates to get in your diaries. *see website for definition of recently appointed
@micra2020@nfchilton Playing fast and loose with the 'rules' eh? That's because you're such nice people 😜
Historically you're right, 3 MICRA meetings from appointment and that's your lot (therefore max 7 years). Late stage post-docs have also attended.
Hey #MICRA2018 fans, follow the @MICRA2020 account below for updates on the next exciting instalment of the best conference series there is for recently appointed inorganic chemists:

Welcome to the Twitter feed for MICRA 2020 - the Meeting of Inorganic Chemists Recently Appointed, which will be held at Durham University 7-9th Sept 2020. Check out the website for more details: https://t.co/93t763ATkW
@andrew_yessir@UKPorMat We used the same venue for our last conference and I think the delegates would agree, it was great. Definitely something to look forward to!
This is always an excellent meeting for inorganic chemists, and the next one is in Cardiff, so all the more reason to send your students and postdocs!
Abstract deadline is approaching, so please retweet Marina's tweet.
Conference alert!
My amazing PhD student @CoreyClj is graduating from conference assistant to conference organiser and has arranged the next @RoySocChem Dalton Younger Members Event (DYME) to be in Cardiff later this year. The events page is now live:

Had a great time and saw lots of great chemistry at @MICRA_2018 conference last month. Looking forward to MICRA 2020 already! Yes it has taken me this long to work out how to retweet something...
@jamie_carden here, the one behind the #MICRA2018 over the past few days. Just thought I'd say a quick thank you to @TimEasun and @rebecca_melen for inviting me, and to all of the academics I've had the privilege of meeting this week.
Hopefully I'll see you all soon somewhere!
