MIGREC team member, Ljiljana Ćumura, co-founder and team leader of the Refugee and Migrant Education Dr. Tony Cernera, and Prof. Dr. Marco Tavanti from the University of San Francisco's School of Management, coordinated the first meeting on Migrants and Refugee Education Research
Last week, on November 11th 2023, the MIGREC team member, Ljiljana Cumura, took an active role at the 2nd International Conference “Sociology of Southern Europe” organized by the Malta Sociological Association, in Valletta (Malta).
The Summer School on Forced Displacement was held at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Belgrade from July 17 to 29, 2023. The Programme was created by professors and researchers from Boston University and the Faculty of Political Science.
On June 6, 2023, Natalija Perišić presented her work on the topic „Migrant women in theory and research – a view from the Western Balkans“ as part of the training session for this project, which was held at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tuzla.
The members of the MIGREC team, Danijela Pavlović and Milica Langović, were participants in the regional conference on migration "“Reversing the brain drain through the Scientific Diaspora in the Western Balkans" in Skopje on April 24, 2023.
PhD candidate Nataša Milošević from the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Political Science, participated in a two-week study visit in Thessaloniki, Greece.
