In the group chat with my crew. This is what an actual psychiatrist has to say about today's society:
The truth is…The actual truth isn’t important any more
Trump has just destroyed the US beef industry. No country in their right mind is going to import US beef.
After Trump cut funding for Screwworm monitoring programs, the dangerous flesh-eating parasite has been found in US cattle for the first time since 1966.
Musicians/Artists:
Don’t take an advance.
Start a business and set up a corp.
Do an admin deal for your publishing.
Track your business expenses.
Review your data.
Take 15-20% of your income and put it in a simple money market account.
Add strategic partners along the way.
The retired San Francisco firefighter at the center of a bitter insurance fight has lost his battle against stage 4 lung cancer, after pleading with Blue Shield to reverse their decision to deny treatment. He also spent his final months unsuccessfully appealing to San Francisco's Health Service Board to intervene.

If the provision in the NDAA to integrate/synchronize the U.S. and Israeli militaries (section 224) makes it out of committee, I’ll offer an amendment to strip it from the bill on the floor.
We are a sovereign country.

🚨 DAMN.
Ruby Bridges said the moment she finally understood what was happening during school integration was when a little white boy told her:
“My mom said I can’t play with you because you’re a nigger.”
She was SIX.
And she said hearing that felt like “a huge weight lifted,” because suddenly everything made sense.
Why the classrooms were empty.
Why adults were screaming.
Why U.S. Marshals had to escort her to school.
Not because of anything she did.
Just because of the color of her skin.
A six-year-old child realizing an entire country was angry at her for existing.
We are now in a weird era where a guy gets publicly shamed for running his sprinklers on a Tuesday, while a data center the size of a Costco quietly drains a reservoir so AI can generate a picture of your cat as a medieval knight. And the data center gets a tax incentive for it.
Thomas Massie says he plans to publicly read the names of Epstein clients before leaving Congress.
If he follows through, Washington is about to enter full panic mode.
Pep - what can I say? Where do I start? ✍️🩵
It’s difficult to truly describe the impact Pep has had - not only on Manchester City as a football club, but on everything around it as well. The trophies and achievements speak for themselves. But what made him special was always much bigger than winning.
For me personally, he was never just a manager. He was a mentor, a leader and also a friend.
From the very first day we worked together, he challenged me to see football differently. Every detail mattered. Every meter on the pitch had a purpose. There were moments when his intensity pushed all of us to our limits mentally and physically - but looking back, that obsession with perfection is exactly what made his teams so extraordinary.
What many people don’t see from the outside is the human side of Pep. Beyond football, he is incredibly humble, thoughtful and someone who genuinely cares about the people around him.
Over the years, I was lucky enough to experience that side of him very closely. He made me a better player, but also a better person.
When I look back on my career one day, my time working with Pep will always be one of the defining chapters of my journey.
ManCity without Pep will never be the same again. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, my family, the football club, the community and Manchester as a whole. 🩵
Looking forward to seeing you at the game on Sunday! @PepTeam 🙏
"I've found peace in talking about my wife as opposed to talking about the struggle that she endured for two years."
Michael Smith shared a powerful remembrance of his wife, Sarah, who passed away after a brave battle with glioblastoma.
The age of clickbait, hot takes, and clout chasin’ has turned public debate into a worldwide web of weirdos desperate to be seen. What we’re often left with is not discourse, but performance. Folks know the audience is watching. They know they’re playing a role. And the role they choose to play, along with the audience they’re performing for, tells us everything about the politics of the moment.
