These are video game and furry memes. I cannot believe how irresponsible the WSJ was in blasting out a speculative claim that the bullets were inscribed with "transgender and antifascist ideology"(?) as news. A catastrophic failure that could have real and lasting consequences.
Beginning to see why the Poles are asking Ukraine for help... “Reports suggest Sidewinder missiles costing around $400,000 a piece were used to down cheap plywood and foam Russian drones costing only $10,000 each.” https://t.co/iVe2HkIRcf
Vladimir Putin seems to be following the “probe with bayonets” strategy attributed to Lenin: “If you encounter mush, proceed; if you encounter steel, withdraw.”
As long as Putin hears mush from Washington, he will keep pressing his bayonet forward.

Trump ally Larry Ellison, one of the richest men on earth, just took over Paramount and CBS. Now he plans to buy Warner Bros, including CNN.

I am once again here to say that the spread of AI -- in the White House, at universities, and in our daily lives -- is one of the biggest threats to our critical thought and our freedom.

Erm, literally everyone I know on the left is actually doing the opposite: saying that they disagreed with Kirk's views but are utterly appalled by this inexcusable murder and attack on speech.
Meanwhile, rightwingers are trying to get people fired/banned/deported for saying anything offensive about Kirk's death. So much for 'Je Suis Charlie.'
Israel’s strike on Qatar demonstrates its willingness to go anywhere to eliminate Hamas, but it could also threaten its relationship with the Arab world as well as the efforts to secure a ceasefire in Gaza.

“The peace and security of all Europeans—and Americans, too—requires a secure, sovereign, and independent Ukraine,” writes Ivo Daalder. “But today, it is up to Europe as to whether it has the wisdom and the will to make it so.”

CNN is reporting that the suspect who shot Charlie Kirk did so from a university building 200 yards away.
If true, that means he was farther away than the Trump assassin in Pennsylvania and farther away than Lee Harvey Oswald was when he shot Kennedy.
