"OLI" stands for On-chip Learning Intelligence, a name inspired by the Tamil word for light.

Light has always played a profound role in the story of humankind. From the moment life begins, it is there. Science tells us that when an egg is fertilized, a tiny flash of light sparks within the mother’s womb. That spark is more than biology. It is a symbol, a reminder that existence itself begins with light.

We believe OLI carries that same symbolism. Just as that first spark marks the start of life, OLI marks a new beginning for the Indian semiconductor market. A small seed today, but one we believe will grow into something extraordinary.

Very soon, we will be sharing all the technical details of this chip. The spark has been lit and now it is time to watch it grow.

Look at a Kanizsa Triangle. You will see a solid white triangle sitting on top of three circles. You’ll even swear the central triangle is "whiter" than the background.

The Brain Logic: There are no lines there. But your Area V2 neurons are programmed to find "Gestalt" shapes.

My intention is not to replicate biology 100% in silicon. At the same time, I am deliberately exploring areas that competitors may have overlooked. I am studying specific aspects of the brain and translating those principles into digital silicon logic.

Right now I’m deep into Area 17, the visual cortex. I went back to the 1991 Felleman and Van Essen paper, and I’ll be honest, that connectivity map can make any engineer lose their mind. V1, V2, V4, the magnocellular and parvocellular streams, LGN, rods, cones, retinotopic

but in a good way. Every time I study the brain seriously, something strange happens. The more I understand how the brain works, the more I understand people. Attention, interaction, persuasion, how people react to ideas, none of that ever really came from business books for me
