Society embraces the notion that men and women need to be treated differently - which is a problem feminism seeks to correct.
Also, racism is unacceptable.

I understand your focus and don't want to argue - just looking for your opinion since our POVs overlap somewhat.

@jasamac52 @khadija65838696 @EdgarBoldu @EmmaWatson I definitely have issues with this - but I also see issues with trans folx being forced into a prison correlating to their "sex" rather than their gender. Not all trans people have surgery to modify their bodies - some rely entirely on hormones. Their safety is at risk, also.

I react sharply when I think someone is oversimplifying a concept like biological sex and it's interaction with gender identity - especially on a thread discussing the legitimacy of trans individuals' wo/manhood.

Because it sounds like the entire issue is systemic - men are socialized to endanger women.
In my opinion arguing against trans rights contributes to that larger issue.

I can only assume that you are an inept physicist. Moreover I fail to see how physics addresses the biological implications being discussed... Perhaps the mechanics, but little else.

And it ignores the property of chromosomal crossover as well as phenotypical expression - which is wholly determined by protein and hormone production... It appears that you are relying on science taught at a rudimentary level.
