Why is it that Republicans love to talk about crime in Chicago, or LA but they never really mention crime in Miami?

Is it because Miami is a city run by a Republican Mayor in a state run by a Republican governor?

Violent Crime in Miami is just about as bad as Chicago, with a 48.8 Crime Rate compared to a 49.9 Crime Rate in Chicago (per recent stats).

What’s even more staggering, however, is that when it comes to Property Crime, Miami is much worse than Chicago (62.7 compared to 46.3).
