Oleksandr Usyk plans to return to cruiserweight for his next bout to pursue a super fight with David Benavidez, his advisor Serhii Lapin tells The Ring’s @MikeCoppinger.
Usyk is the former undisputed cruiserweight champion while Benavidez fights on Dec 5th to unify three cruiserweight titles.
@triplespeciale Was giving us 500k a week performances on 50k a week for years. Can never play another game and he deserves every penny of that contract
@Mishimaesque@trevsenpaii Surely the precedent set proves he doesn’t deserve it? Same reason why we didn’t give Mbappe balon dors for all the seasons he had at PSG
@MarzTalksSports Kane wasn’t even the best player at Bayern (Olise won player of the season), he wasn’t the best player for England (Jude won England player of the year); yet neither teams were top 2 in UCL or WC. He won a balon dor for goals in a league which Timo Werner dominated
@rocker5294@MoHugo_1997@Olexio1@Ghost_OMM He threw a ridiculous amount of shots for a heavyweight. It’s pretty obvious to anyone who understands the sport what he gassed out because he fought at an unsustainable pace due to his inexperience
@rocker5294@Olexio1@Ghost_OMM You’re deluded if you think Hrgovic was landing anything of significance in the 3rd round. There’s a reason why hrgovic said Itauma is by far the best guy he’s been in the ring with
@Dishbro1@kc3mvp@MIK3MCDANIEL It depends on the type of player he plays with. He massively enhances play finishers like Capela, Collins, Risacher, Hunter Huerter, Dyson Daniels, but does nothing to enhance self creation guards like NAW and Dejounte.
@capitalsfan4321@washedwiz As a Hawks fan, he always starts the season shooting horribly. No idea why, but it lasts about 4-6 weeks. Rest of the season he’s lights out and is actually quite a good shooter. He’ll have month long stretches where he looks like prime Curry
