This is great news. It means that the FDA will maintain its requirement for COVID-19 vaccine authorization that a trial must follow patients for a median of two months - which is already a bare minimum.
This is SUCH a crucial thing to understand, even -- especially -- for those of us whose paychecks are relatively sizable. I take home more in a month now than I ever have, but I literally couldn't pay all my bills if I missed even one paycheck = working poor and I vote like it.
Too many of you are confused about your class status. If you can’t afford to miss a paycheck, you’re the working poor, and part of the 80% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck. If you HAVE to work to survive, you’re working class.
@BrittanyHailer I picked out a "bridesmaids" dress from the brand I liked because I wanted something in a different color / short. It was BHLDN, but if I could have afforded it, it would've been from this designer: https://t.co/2GMoPSk9l7

@surlybassey I adore the depiction of birth in @victorlavalle The Changeling -- I found great comfort in it while I was pregnant. Also Jean Hoagland's Into the Forest and Louise Erdrich's Future Home of the Living God (TW for loss on that last one).
@lillydancyger I love this idea! I've never been able to establish any kind of daily routine -- writing, exercising, drinking enough water -- that sticks, but this feels totally manageable.

This list of SO GOOD. I'm ordering @victorlavalle DESTROYER but might I also suggest THE CHANGELING which is maybe the best book I've ever read about the terror of becoming a parent.
We need to be careful w/narrative we accept and spread. The "violence" at the protest wasn't against cars, statues, & all those other inanimate objects
The violence I witnessed in Pittsburgh was militarized police responding to water bottles w/chemical force & rubber bullets
Spent five years working retail and lemme tell you, none of these workers are paid enough to put up with your bullshit. You don’t wanna wear a mask? Then: Have shit delivered or shop online. Stay home.
@lacymjohnson Oh yes. A more mindful approach to my use of resources: being judicious with paper products, planning meals to use all the food we buy and throw as little out as possible. More concerted efforts to reach out and connect to friends. Daily outdoor time / walking.
@IamRageSparkle A band! My favorite album of theirs is Stay Gold, but they also did this excellent cover for the Wild movie soundtrack a few years back: https://t.co/f2neZXN8XF
