Let me add an important one.

People associate looks with success. If you’re not physically attractive but are financially successful or competent at your job, you will have people from all walks of life target you for destruction. From harassment, gossip, bullying, mobbing, passive aggression, sabotage, violence to even criminal targeting.

People don’t like seeing people they think are inferior to them doing better than them.
