@prittinp1nk I know my question is probably stupid, but how? I’ve been in the law of assumption community for years, and every time I tried to just ‘decide,’ I ended up having mental breakdowns. This time it even led to a suicide attempt. I genuinely don’t know what to do.
@RelloBastard@BALUCIAGA@Burnerburnerac5 If you need to reference another category of a specific gender to make your point, rather than addressing the one mentioned in the tweet, you did not fully understand the post. Notice how she was able to make her point without disparaging men outside of those mentioned?
@RelloBastard@BALUCIAGA@Burnerburnerac5 She specifically mentioned older men in their forties and her personal dating preferences in the same context. It was not a targeted attack or generalization about other groups of men. She simply explained why she would not date an older man in his forties, and nothing more.
@goddessloass The law of assumption offers valuable insights, but it can make some people arrogant. Not everyone knows about it, and systemic issues shape many beliefs that take time to change. Harsh criticism literally only makes the law less welcoming.
