I have experience with service learning. A great tool I will consider making use of in my #educ4750 unit plan.

@niamhformby How about personal projects for students to do at home? I remember an activity from primary school in which I measured and recorded the water usage of my household and tried to reduce it. Something similar to that perhaps 🤔

- Challenge your class to calculate the cost of paper usage vs digital usage over a school year
- Invite NSW Rangers to tour a local area with your class and discuss the ecosystem

@Scott_Macey1 @KHunter2001 I agree. If we want to cut-back on our use of paper products, then going digital is a great idea. However, we also need to be conscious of of tech consumption. Otherwise we will go in circles. Critical thinking and careful planning is key.

I also love that they advocate for a Circular Economy in the consumption of electronics. A great concept that can also be applied to other industries.
