@sciameXL You’re thinking of astroturf. This is Matrix Turf with Helix. It’s super long artificial grass with a thick layer of rubber pellets. It has more give than dirt.

@TheRealFredLee @kcoppola2016 @chargers Field turf is more dangerous for lower body injuries (think ACL) but overall is a safer surface to play on. It’s literally synthetic grass with a drainage system & rubber pellets to absorb impacts. And it’s fun as hell to play on.
