There is something disgusting and outrageous about the fact that the secret service agents who saved lives saturday night have not been paid in 60 days. The House and Senate should be locked like a papal conclave and kept in the Capitol until they pass the money for Homeland Security. This is a horrible way to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary
Last night was an amazing contrast between President Trump’s combination of achievements, personal ties to a wide range of people, and vision of a golden age for America on the one hand and Zombie Democrats who couldnt even applaud a 13 year old cancer survivor. The choice is astonishingly clear: a golden age for everyone with President Trump or a dour, sullen, energyless collection of Zombie Democrats. Amazing evening
One of those times where you absolutely have to watch the full meeting and not just the highlights, otherwise you’ll be lost. Love him or hate him, Trump started the meeting by praising Ukraine. Before Zelensky turned to him, Vance started by saying Russia “destroyed” Ukraine. Zelensky decided to turn the meeting into a public spat. Maybe you think he was right to go on offense, but he was absolutely not ambushed.
We should not be dependent on CCP China for rare earths. We can get them here in the U.S., first of all. And then there's Greenland, Ukraine, and many other places that are better sources.

Many of the same people who decry the DOGE team as too young and inexperienced are the same ones who wanted us all to follow 15-year-old Greta Thunberg’s policies on climate change and deindustrialization.
Critics say Trump is dangerous on the international stage, yet 2023 (Biden Admin) saw the highest number of state-on-state and intra-state conflicts since 1946
Re: House votes today. James Madison was often exasperated by his fellow legislators, especially the "narrow-minded" ones he described as, "deplorable middling legislators" noting "the endless quibbles, chicaneries, perversions, vexations, and delays of lawyers and demi-lawyers.
I acccept and agree with the frustration of those who would like a more successful and more aggressively conservative house gop. I wrote a book ,March to the Majority, outlining the 16 year effort it took to grow the Contract with America and the first GOP House majority in 40 years. The CONTRARIANS live in a fantasy land where they can avoid the hard work and force change by having temper tantrums. Sorry, it doesn’t work that way.
Newt is right. Johnson is the overwhelming choice of House Republicans. The only way Massie et al can defeat him is by joining forces with the House Democrats. Then they turn around and complain that Johnson did that occasionally. Hypocrites.
