Water Injustice requires urgent action from Victorian State government
MLDRIN Deputy Chair and Tati Tati man, Brendan Kennedy provided compelling testimony to Victoria's truth-telling inquiry, the #Yoorook Justice Commission (Land, Sky and Waters Hearing on 24th April).
Traditional Owners in Victoria own less than 0.2 per cent of all water access entitlements in the state. There is no program of systematic water returns for Traditional Owners, and water buybacks are off the table in Victoria.
