We had amazing submissions from a variety of ML subfields @NeurIPSConf
Check out their 5-min talks, you're sure to find something of interest😃
We'd also like to sincerely thank our reviewers for their time and effort.
An inspiring talk for all advisors from Kilian Weinberger @MLRetrospective workshop #neurips2020 Using 3 of his recent papers as example, he argues on the importance on focusing on the gained insight and not just settle for beating SoTA enough to get you a paper 1/
ML conference talks are frequently informative, but I think the most beautiful, most poetic, I've ever heard was @shakir_za 's intro keynote for the ML retrospectives workshop. That talk will now be a part of how I train students to think about research and to write.
Talk: Evaluating ML Decision Support tools as Embedded Systems by @mariadearteaga (@UTAustin)

Tune in for the Q/A session now.
Excited to speak tomorrow at the #NeurIPS2020@MLRetrospective Workshop! I'll be talking about evaluating AI decision support tools as embedded systems (joint work with @sinafazelpour).
@jefrankle@NeurIPSConf@iclr_conf@icmlconf We fully endorse this, happy to help out as well!
High time we should have a concrete conversation around this for future editions of the conference(s).
Panel ongoing about the state of ML Research community, incentives for better work practices and in general about surveys/analyses etc with @in4dmatics

Finished my last recording- today for the #NeurIPS2020 workshop on retrospectives and surveys🥳. Had the most fun with this recording since it was all about writing, writing style, and about writing and surveys in ML. Going to be a fun workshop🎉 https://t.co/00Y5Er5PGC
