@M_Steeples They are all obsessed with Cavill being Bond, but he doesn't want to do it, plus has too many other irons in the fire anyway, between Highlander, Warhammer, and some other stuff.
@DeclanFinnBooks@J0hnADouglas Doomsday : Everyone loses to Doom, and he rules Battleworld, and "brings back" some characters
Secret Wars : Starts the reset
X-Men : Continues and fleshes out the reset
It was leaked ages ago by a concrete source
@Nadeem83Shafqat People love to harp on about who plays Bond, like it's all that matters.
Not supporting cast, not the script, not the production team, etc etc.
Bond, like many other long-running franchises are dying because people don't make them like they used to.
@Joe_Hobbies@Nerdcognito Because for many years now, a lot of their products aren't made by them. They farm out the licenses to all and sundry, leaving the people back at back, so to speak, less capable due to being far less utilised.
@austinmonster@Nerdcognito Read again, homie ... it's "scripted improv"
CR has ALWAYS been "semi-scripted" aka "scripted improv", and always will be.
Plan out the high spots, then fudge your way through them.
It's like the theatre kid version of how pro wrestling works.
@Grand_DM I'll throw in the odd bit of ultraviolence and pillagery, in most of my fantasy games, but a lot of players now either want unending combat, or they want a super-long intricate campaign, less and less people fall inbetween
@Nerdcognito Vallejo still sell many of the paints from that line, just under their own label again, and in larger droppers.
I picked up, on clearance, all the different varnishes, along with matt black, which is lovely for doing the side of a mini base, for a quid apiece.
@Nerdcognito I'm a fucking terrible mini painter, and always have been, but I enjoy it.
I remember the last D&D branded mini paint : Prismatic Paints, made by WizKids & Vallejo.
The best one was Metal Medium, which you added to any acrylic paint to turn it metallic. 8ml droppers though smh
