Zinn’s book doesn’t contain a single footnote; just a bibliography at the end.
In grad school I’d have never gotten away with such shoddy sourcing. But Zinn, because he trashes the West, is not only afforded that privilege, he’s required reading in probably every grad school history program.
That’s why I despise the smarmy, supercilious turds who admire him and his shitty book. Every, single one of them.

@TwinsAlmanac This is so misleading. It reads like he did that with 2 outs in the 9th. Bunting in the 6th to get on base down 3 is not nearly as bad. Also, it’s not “all that stood between” him. That’s called the fallacy of the predetermined outcome.
