The Build More Housing Near Transit Act would incentivize housing
construction along future transit corridors. This would increase housing
stock and boost transit ridership. It's time #Congress addresses the
#housingaffordability crisis. #NAAadvocates

The #Section8 HCV program has helped millions of
#renters obtain quality #affordablehousing for years, but
program inefficiencies and burdens limit the program.
#Congress needs to address housing affordability by
reforming the HCV program. #NAAadvocates
Congratulations to Joe and our whole Baltimore team and thank you to @MMHAonline for this beautiful Gold Sponsor Award at last night's Star Awards Gala.
#Congress needs to streamline the distribution of critical
#ERAP dollars. Program grantees must make the process
easier for renters and property owners. It's time to make
everyone whole and keep renters housed.

#Throwback to the 22nd annual golf tournament with @MMHAonline
in 2019 benefitting The Baltimore Station. The charity golf outing returned on Thursday to @mountain_branch as an in-person tournament! Thank you to everyone who participated!
The idea that we want people to lose their housing is simply untrue – this is an industry of people and homes, not empty buildings. It’s past time for the government to enact responsible and sustainable solutions that prioritize making both renters and housing providers whole.
STEP program - identifies hotspot zip codes, @MMHAonline working with United Way to identify housing providers and make connections to facilitate payments. (Grason Wiggins, MMHA)
Housing Providers are essential for this process.
