Today we talked about self-esteem. Miss Donna read a beautiful book about embracing what makes us different. Then the students had fun creating animals from various building materials. We love whenever the Guernsey County District Public Library gets to visit!

Summertime means strawberry shortcake! Some of our Makers made strawberry shortcake today complete with fresh strawberries and homemade whipped cream 😋 🍓

Our Makers have been working on communication and teamwork, and today they competed an activity that showed the value of working together and taking risks to help others succeed. They do a great job of supporting and encouraging one another. We have the best students!

It’s raining, it’s pouring, but that doesn’t stop us— we’re too busy with slime mixing, pottery making, and indoor play with the Lu Playground.

What a great way to kick off summer camp! We had so much fun hanging out with @COSI and learning about dinosaurs. The students also got to check out books from the @gcdpl’s book mobile and get signed up for the summer reading program!

Tonight we got to welcome our families to MAKERS to show them what the students have accomplished and learned throughout the year. This wraps up our second semester, but it’s just goodbye for now because we have summer camp to look forward to!

Today we celebrated our 8th graders. Some of these students have been part of 21st Century programs since 4th grade. These students are hardworking and kind-hearted. They will be missed, but we know they will do great things in high school. Congratulations, Class of 2025!
