I list here three key points from my presentation on robots and cybernetic avatars in public administration (delivered at ICRES 2025, Porto, Portugal):
1) a definition for "bureaunoids" (robots or avatars used in public administration),
2) a concept of VAR (a challenge system for decisions made by bureaunoids), and
3) an idea of the "Humanity Report" (where human judgment, enhanced by suggestions from AI-driven robo- or cyber-clerks, prevails in public administration decision-making).
My forthcoming paper will explore these topics in more detail, but I would be happy to discuss them here too (2 slides attached), thx!
