The disabled characters in my books are shown taking part in everything, at their own ability 📚 It’s important that they’re not defined by their disability. Nisha loves feeding the donkeys with Hattie 🥰 #Inclusive#Disability#DiversityandInclusion#Edutwitter#Primary#EYFS
I’m utterly hurt. I asked someone to provide feedback on my script, and he basically said it was awful, he couldn’t even finish it. Why tell me that? Why not just make up an excuse? I’m giving up writing.
We have launched a new campaign – We Belong - and the website is now live https://t.co/P6KNA7hN9u It's a call to society to recognise us as equal to non-disabled people. Not pity cases. Not people who can be ignored. Not an inconvenience. Check out the new site and please share!
