@dieworkwear A lot of that here in Australia. Many claim things here are the “best in the world” when they’ve never been anywhere else 😂.
As for the US commenters, examples like East Houston, downtown Reading PA, Jersey near Newark - I’ve felt safer in 3rd world countries!
@SquidgeRugby Rugbypass have no credibility given they employ ragebaiters like Ben Smith.
That aside, ex players are great but many also frequently bring a tonne of bias and ref whingeing to commentary. Here in the SH particularly. I miss the “pro commentators” of yore who weren’t fanboys.
@ParamountPlusAU hey what’s with episodes of shows like Twin Peaks not being complete episodes? They’re cut off halfway through!! Happening on both TV and mobile.
@StephenFerris6 Record attendance and TV audience at last World Cup. 6 top teams who could all beat each other on any given day. Others like Georgia and Portugal putting on a great show. Women’s game growing fast.
Yep, call the undertaker, rugby is dead!
@FriedgeHNIC@EricFrancis@Sportsnet Canadians are too nice. Greed and disdain for fanbases on this level has caused street riots in sports like English soccer.
@haribaldijones It’s all part of the clickbait circus. Pundits are willing to sell their souls and make ludicrous comments every week to get the fan rage on socials going. Rugby fans have always complained about reffing but it’s reached new levels.
Oh and Stan Sport is rubbish.
@ChalynRugby Interesting insight, although it has to be noted that in most of the positions listed, the comparison is between a first choice AB and a second or third choice Bok due to injuries.
For example at 10, BB should be playing most of the ABs minutes , while Manie wouldn’t for Boks.
@FilmCrazyGuy@scrumming_ten Except it’s not. No Skelton, no JOC, and the Wallabies won’t be playing against a team who forgot the fundamentals of rugby for a half.
@haribaldijones 2 - it was an exhibition of “Total Rugby”. Battered their scrum, huge speed and metres from the captain, fizzed pass by Andre and a wicked step by Cheslin.
