@SydneyStout11 This teacher holds promise because she is using a very popular app that her students are most likely using daily. It shows she cares about what her students are interested in, which is awesome! #EDUC300#05Sp2020
Ms. Washington made an activity every day for her students to do during quarantine. This emphasizes structure, as it gives her students something to do every day. This is so cute! #EDUC300#05Sp2020
This classroom is perennialist, as there is most likely a focus on the Bible, since there is a priest at the front of the classroom and a picture of Jesus in the back. #EDUC300#05Sp2020
Today in class we discussed the Facebook profiles we made for educators that influenced education. We also talked about the education philosophies we agree with and talked with people who agree with a different philosophy. #EDUC300#05Sp2020
@BeccaKassel My group also discussed that poverty and underfunding can drastically impact how a student can learn, especially if english isn’t their first language. If there is underfunding, teachers that can speak other languages may not be hired, making for a harder learning environment.
@_MorrisE I agree with the psychological safety. I also believe that impact is important with the students, since all of them are being acknowledged with the seats and how they want to be seated, they feel important. #EDUC300#05sp2020
@SCulver31@MailOnline I agree! Impact is also shown, with each of the students having what they want respected, and each feels special and important individually. #EDUC300#05Sp2020
Both SpaceX and NASA worked together to explore how to increase the safety of astronauts during destruction of a spacecraft, using a capsul that would launch the astronauts away from the explosion. It was a success, landing in the Atlantic Ocean.
