@Richard_Florida Austin's tech community is huge. Apple, Google, FB, Dell, and Tesla hired tens of thousands of people in just the last year alone. Since the total population is only a million or so that means a super-high percentage of folks working in tech.

North East ISD, a San Antonio district that abruptly pulled 400+ books off shelves in response to Matt Krause’s list, announced it was permanently purging and replacing more than 100 of them for various reasons. Here’s a list of the books the district said were “out of date.”
