@ThierryMARIANI This is nothing new. Remember the Vemork heavy water plant sabotage (Norway, 1943) and the sinking of the ferry Hydro (1944), Operation Chastise, the "Dam Busters" raid (1943), and the destruction of the DniproHES dam (1941). All of it to stop the enemy, wasn't it?
@ianmiles Did Trump propose a ceasefire? Yes. Did Ukraine agree? Yes. Does Russia agree? That's the question. Their official answer: rejection. So what does that look like more?

@AmericaFirstCon Is that why there was Tuzla Island in 2003? Is that why there were the "food wars"? Is that why Ukraine paid more for gas than Europe did in 2011? Is that why, on March 1, 2014, Russia's Federation Council approved sending troops into Ukraine?

@MarioBojic Not giving up the way some had hoped. Maybe there's a wish to strike deals that benefit only one side, and that's where the panic comes from? Or maybe Nord Stream keeps someone up at night. Money does make people nervous. There were already blackouts in 2025, so what?
@Panchenko_X You forgot to add: Akhmetov developed Mariupol, Azovstal and the whole metallurgical sector. His group is Ukraine's largest taxpayer: in the first half of 2026 alone, DTEK paid 29.6 billion hryvnias in taxes, almost 22% more than a year earlier. And by the way, he's in Ukraine.
@4mYeeFHhA6H1OnF The Russians went looking for "combat geese" and biolabs in Ukraine, and found the plague in Irkutsk, in Russia itself. What a paradox.
I hate it when my trolls claim Russia was forced to invade cos of the "genocide in the Donbas". It means I have to post this video of Prigozhin saying it's bullshit.
Russian propagandists are discussing the diesel deal. And it's quite interesting:
"The diesel deal has nothing to do with restoring the fuel balance. Even if our diesel arrives, it will be in November, and that's only one day's worth of consumption… Diesel prices on the exchange dipped slightly, but they are already rising and will return to their previous levels next week.
This deal isn't about the fuel balance or the economy. In fact, it most likely won't even affect the elections."
"I assure you, someone made a decent chunk of money on this."
"Yes, I even know who. His name is... Jared."
At times, they produce curious content.
Russians have recently been complaining en masse about poor-quality diesel fuel and equipment breakdowns. Diesel fuel is being diluted and quality standards are not being met.
Diesel fuel standards in Russia and the United States are not identical. Russian diesel is not certified to meet U.S. standards and is unlikely to undergo certification.
If Russian diesel ever makes its way to the United States, good luck to anyone who puts it in their vehicles.
