As a tech pioneer you must understand you cannot have everything in your timeline. Of course you want it. When I’m exited about new tech I feel like a kid and have the same.
Asking for it every week will not make any one work harder for you.
You call it stagnation? I think we should be really happy we got it first (a stable version without the reported 14.3 brake stabbing) and other countries in Europe are getting it too now.
You know how long it took and how many ppl are still waiting for it. Now you expect (demand?) to be the first in Europe to get all the most recent updates as well under the guise of“sitting still”.

@niccruzpatane Kinda weird they did not make room to structurally integrate this for future use. Makes so much sense to have high speed connection on board. If not now, then in 2 years
@xdNiBoR@Enzoknol Both driver and FSD did not respond in time. Driver was too busy paying attention, and FSD also ran into the lane were the car running the red was going full speed. Would still have been a crash if the other car didn’t swerve

Had je gezien Rob dat FSD als eerste de NHTSA ADAS test heeft gehaald? Kan natuurlijk slechts een mooie krantenkop zijn: wellicht hebben anderen nog geen kans gehad aan de test mee te doen bijvoorbeeld. Maar lijkt mij wel een indicatie van een heel goed level 2+ systeem. NHTSA is tot nu toe niet de makkelijkste geweest.
In deze discussie is level 2 en level 3 volgens mij een beetje door elkaar gehaald, maar het is voor nu voornamelijk een level 2(+) systeem waarvan jij vindt dat het gevaarlijk is.

The NHTSA has just officially announced that the 2026 @Tesla Model Y is the first vehicle model to pass the agency’s new advanced driver assistance system tests.
2026 Tesla Model Y vehicles, manufactured on or after Nov. 12, 2025, successfully met the new criteria for four newly integrated advanced safety tests:
• Pedestrian automatic emergency braking
• Lane keeping assistance
• Blind spot warning
• Blind spot intervention
“Today’s announcement marks a significant step forward in our efforts to provide consumers with the most comprehensive safety ratings ever,” said NHTSA Administrator Jonathan Morrison. “By successfully passing these new tests, the 2026 Tesla Model Y demonstrates the lifesaving potential of driver assistance technologies and sets a high bar for the industry. We hope to see many more manufacturers develop vehicles that can meet these requirements.”

Also can't fully overlook the (short to midterm) risk for this merger. I dont want this added risk, but don't want to sell right before FSD takes of as well.
Haha waarom steeds die musk erbij halen. Je maakt het zo overduidelijk dat je gewoon tegen alles bent wat aan zijn naam gekoppeld is.
Het gaat toch om de techniek in deze discussie. Echt zo doorzichtig steeds naar hem te verwijzen. Ik noemde eerder al dat je drogredenen gebruikt, en dit is letterlijk het zogeheten “Hitler argument” -> Musk is slecht, dus FSD is ook slecht.
En ons ook meteen framen als Musk lovers (jullie Musk). Het gaat mij echt om de techniek, niet om de persoon. Dat is jouw ding. Dus kap met mij (ons) in een hokje te schuiven waar jij makkelijk mee kan omgaan met je scheve beredenering, en ga gewoon inhoudelijk op de discussie in.
