Just like smart summon now uses the up to date FSD logic, auto park needs to be brought up to speed next (current autopark, not FSD parking, is not good).

Once FSD gets into a parking lot and you can pick a spot and tell it to park there, experience will be 100x better.

Und jetzt sag mir nicht du würdest das hinnehmen. Bei der Geduld, die du mit deinen Mitmenschen hast, die hier posten, kann ich mir das Drama leibhaftig vorstellen.

Canadian Coast to Coast with Tesla FSD is done!

Myself, @DavidMoss and @scotsrule08 drove over 6,051km (3,760 miles) across Canada, through the Rockies, prairies, Canadian Shield, etc - all while using FSD.

Canada threw just about everything it had at us along the way… construction, animals on the road, poor weather, bad drivers, etc - and we still managed to pull it off.

This is a major milestone in autonomy and will hopefully help prove to people where we actually are today with regard to self-driving cars.

What a fun 5 days it’s been - I can’t believe how many people have shown up to support us along the way! The Tesla community is incredible.

Great news for Full Self Driving Supervised in Belgium! 🇧🇪

@AnnickDeRidder just told HLN that FSD Supervised will be approved in the coming weeks in Belgium.

This is what she said:

“If all goes well, approval will follow in the coming weeks. For the time being, it only concerns Tesla with the Full Self Driving system. And it remains supervised; you still have to sit in the driver's seat. That is already possible in the Netherlands, Estonia, and Lithuania. We really have to be the next. In Europe, we have become risk-averse. That hinders innovation. While cars with six or eight cameras actually make traffic safer. 90% of all accidents are caused by human error: alcohol, drugs, looking at a mobile phone, ... ”

Europe’s regulators aren’t protecting you from Tesla.

They’re protecting themselves from irrelevance.
The painfully slow approval of Full Self-Driving in Europe isn’t about safety. It’s about incentives.

Regulators’ entire existence depends on the public believing they are the ones who “keep everyone safe.” If they approve FSD quickly, they have to admit something uncomfortable: Tesla has already done the real work.

Billions of miles of real-world validation on Cortex. Over 10 billion miles driven in the United States. The system has been stress-tested at a scale no government lab could ever replicate. The data is overwhelming.

So what do regulators do? They invent new hoops to jump through. They demand tests that are orders of magnitude less rigorous than what Tesla has already completed. Why? Because if they don’t, they have zero visible “added value.” And zero added value means zero justification for their budgets, their jobs, and their authority.

They cannot simply say: “Tesla has already solved this better than we ever could.” That would be career suicide. It would expose that they are, at best, redundant — and at worst, actively slowing down safer roads for millions of Europeans.

So they delay. They nitpick. They posture. Not because FSD is dangerous, but because admitting it isn’t would threaten their own livelihood.

This isn’t regulation. It’s institutional self-preservation dressed up as public protection.

The longer they stall, the clearer it becomes: Europe’s biggest obstacle to safer autonomous driving isn’t the technology. It’s the people whose job it is to approve it.
