Year 1 have absolutely loved making ice lollies for D.T. We designed our appealing packaging and chose the best flavours. Then cut the fruit very carefully. Our favourite part was getting to eat them of course!

🟢Today, Year 1 have raised awareness for Cerebral Palsy. They wore an item of green to show their support. 🟢 @morley_newlands

Last week the children took part in ‘Unity Day’. We explored the protected characteristic ‘disability’. We discussed kindness and making sure we treat everyone equally. @morley_newlands

This week in Year 1 we have celebrated our individual creativity in #ArtWeek inspired by The Dot by Peter H Reynolds. We designed and created our own dots using tone, patterns and textures. Amazing work Year 1!
