@DynoDangle@WildShitposter I think people need to understand that sometimes there is an acclimation process to the north american game as well for some of these russian/euro guys. New culture, rink size and really different game here vs over there.
@DerekMackey13@asdasd_asd37998 Brady is a unicorn player. Pierre forward that can score and plays as physically as him are uber valuable and rare. That mitigates positional. Also, Brady is 4yrs younger
@Jennife99697952@davidwmueller@HkytownHang@GoodCallSol and let's get to the actual stats of who Larkin is. Larkin ranks 55th, 41st and 44th amongst centers in 5v5 scoring the last 3yrs. He is a PP merchant who is average, at best, 5v5. No coincidence that Detroits 5v5 metrics have drastically improved w/o him in the lineup.
@Jennife99697952@davidwmueller@HkytownHang@GoodCallSol lol. Just absurd stupidity. Yurov is very good and likely better than Larkin by himself in a yr or two. However, the Wild are in a win now mode and are being held hostage by Hughes who seemingly needs his buddy Larkin to re-sign. Otherwise no chance i'd be interested
@Jennife99697952@davidwmueller@HkytownHang@GoodCallSol Yes, Shabanov has played decent 5v5 (better on the PP) but they are both anchored by a guy who has no ability to finish and kills their shifts routinely. Neither Yurov nor Shabanov are good enough yet to overcome that.
@DerekMackey13@asdasd_asd37998@The_Mexinadian Tkachuk gave a 3 team list. As did Larkin, who then expanded. 2 of the 1sts are late as is the 2nd. The 9th pick was in a historically bad draft. Yurov is better and more valuable than that pick.
@davidwmueller@Jennife99697952@HkytownHang@GoodCallSol EXACTLY!! Yurov has elite skating, speed plus a bomb when he uses it. The biggest thing with Yurov is not talent it is cutting it loose, trusting himself and using that raw talent. BTW for the original poster Yurovs assists numbers suck because he is playing w/ Trenin
@99friscoo lol. This perfectly encapsulates Kyler's career and exactly what I told you prior to the season. Hollow meaningless numbers that of you watch were manufactured and meaningless. One good drive a game is not good enough. And it is his M.O. Trash ass QB
@JMC9787 Yurov on pace for 27 goals as a second yr guy while being elite defensively. Oh my god, what a bum. Yes his assist numbers are low.... because he is playing w/ f'n Yakov Trenin who can't finish.
@P_I_Creative@ThePurpleOne_1 No. JJ struggled specifically early. Now let's look at this objectively. JJ missed an entire yr of football at 21 yrs old and didn't play a meaningful game in 20
months. He struggled early then showed improvemen. The mistake was not sitting him behind a vet for a yr when healthy
@P_I_Creative@ThePurpleOne_1 lol. Pure stupidity. This game encapsulates Murray's career perfectly. Numbers look decent in hindsight if you didn't watch the game. He was terrible, is terrible, and this is the reason AZ paid him to leave.
