@thesickpodcasts@TonyMarinaro@StuCowan1 Love Gally, but every player runs their course.I felt for him in his interview, but no sour taste here. If u watched that series and watched his play all year, u know he offered nothing to the result. We all eventually want a winner, so we need to break free of the loyalty factor
Leaf fans:
Think of your Leafs as the comedic monologue writers . The GMs talking at the podiums are the comedians reading your script. You write your own jokes. Don’t treat it as an achievement. They are laughing at you , not with you.
@therealab224 I’d just like a maximize our chances . I don’t quite have the answer as to who is the guy , but I’d probably throw him on the hook as much as possible to see what he could bring in return. Gone fish’n sign up in the window
@therealab224 I can agree he’s gonna be a plug and play. All things considered, he’s gonna be our best option, but I’m unsure if he’s ready to tackle the playoff animal . He’s good enough to get you there , but is he good enough to get you through? I don’t like wasting any more opportunities
@therealab224 You’re right, there’s not a ton of options, but I think at some point we have to realize that we have to pony up and pay . Absolutely love Hage and think he’s gonna get there , but every year he’s not, is the window closing ever so slightly.
@berezin_goal He’s not using his birth certificate to milk your salary cap like Tavares did . He already took a pay cut to try to win . Might wanna put yourselves in better position than 28th. He isn’t listening to your fanbases and media’s false narrative that “next year we’ll be better”
@mcclusk How could anyone who watched that series and thought that Patrik Laine on a 6 month hiatus , could have been any type of positive factor? The pace in October was too much for him. That’s why he didn’t play in May .
@AustonStachews And if he still can’t decide, we’ll ask him which set of D would he rather transitioning the puck up ice
Set 1 . OEL , Reilly, McCabe , Carlo, Stecher, Benoit
Set 2. Hutson , Dobson, Matheson
I’ll stop there because those 3 outscored your top 6 guys by 35 points. lol
@TheRocket9Girl If you look and compare him to the vast majority of members, I’d say no , but then if you match him up against the Habs most recent inductee , Shea Weber , I’d say it’s quite possible
@gallymeroreboot You can count on one hand how many times the Habs were able to get the puck in the area where Gallagher finds success. Otherwise, he struggled with making plays with pace all year . He just couldn’t be effective in that brand of hockey. Even our best players struggled
@brendanshowbiz That’s the thing, I don’t ever try to be smarter than the coach. I might throw something out there in the heat of the moment, but I let the pros be the pros and don’t dwell on it. When you’re still talking about it 72 hours later, you’re trying too hard to be smarter
@brendanshowbiz You think on ice decision making with the puck is always the direct responsibility of the coaches system? Coaches teach “little passes”. It’s called supporting the puck and being connected. What a player chooses to do with it isn’t always exactly what is being taught.
