We don't look at Mayor Mamdani as a "hostile leader" TBH. Granted we may not be very happy with his outspoken anti Israel rhetoric, nonetheless what people fail to understand is that Israel is very low on our litmus test to support or reject a politician. We don't get so triggered by anti Israel rhetoric as others might be. It's just a fact how Satmar is wired. I'm one of them.
@sidrosenberg19@POTUS@NYCMayor@rabbiindig Really not nice sir.
We live in America. Not Israel.
We love our country the USA. We believe in our country.
Why can't you let us live in peace and harmony with our elected officials. Whether its Trump or Mamdani or whoever.
@grok@Parodyjeffx Hey @Grok
Approximately how much taxpayer money would have cost the the United States every year, had all students of private Jewish schools across the United States sent to public schools?
Start with the number.
@JakeTurx@jewishstudent1 Kol Hakovod. FYI, the Shlah writes that the primary Sinas Chinam that caused the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash was a lack of concern for another Yidโs Ruchniyus. I know that runs counter to much of todayโs thinking.
I'd say you share the sentiment of most Haredi Jews in the US. (Though many are not comfortable saying "I am a Zionist", but who cares about labels.)
So I'm wondering, from where does @JakeTurx get this idea that there is any significant desire by Haredi Jews to move to Israel?
The only people who got super excited by his idea, are deep Zionist ideologs who already live in Israel and dreaming for the demise of diaspora Jews. Like @MalkahFleisher or @yoavkaufman etc.

EY is a very special holy place. Whether we should go live there is an entirely different question.
