501c3 & 501c6 nonprofit est. 2024 to protect Minnesota's independent pharmacies, the patients they care for, the communities they serve, and to #endPBMabuse
Time & time again, community pharmacists prove that they are here to help—even, it turns out, with setting up a catio (that's a "🐱-patio"). Our patients are family, & that's what family is for 💚 Show up for them by donating to our charitable foundation ➡️https://t.co/6CsCUyWaR1

@sparflorida@Palms_Pharmacy Patients should get to go to the pharmacy of their choice. Period. Of all the things that currently prevent this, human-created problems involving paperwork shouldn’t be one of them.
We’re down to just over 100 from a robust #Pharmily of 550+ indy pharmacies in Minnesota at the beginning of many current owners’ careers. This is a NATIONAL HEALTH CRISIS. #PBMsAreTheProblem#CrushthePBMarchy
The most underrated corruption taking place in America's healthcare system is the fact that Aetna Insurance is owned by CVS Pharmacy
Yes, you read that right
The pharmacy that sells you the drugs is in bed with the insurance company that "covers" those drugs
They manipulate the prices and have all the patient data to make the most profitable decisions
Not enough people are talking about this.
100% should be illegal for a pharmacy and an insurance company to be owned by the same company
Medicaid takes care of our most vulnerable. In our state & EVERY state, we need our politicians to #DoBetter & check the corporate influences that are making our systems slow, sloppy, & leading to poorer outcomes for patients AND healthcare providers.
If insurance companies can deny care and call it "medically unnecessary", why aren't they required to have malpractice insurance doe when they get it wrong and someone gets sicker or tragically dies ?
Today, we celebrate the awesome NURSES who quite literally carry our healthcare system on their shoulders. Their compassionate, crucial work does not go unnoticed. Thank a nurse in your life today! 🩺💙

The Louisiana House passed HB1236 102-0 today, a unanimous statement in support of local pharmacies and patient access.
The bill requires PBMs to reimburse local pharmacies at least NADAC plus Louisiana’s Medicaid dispensing fee ($11.81). If NADAC doesn’t cover the pharmacy’s cost, the PBM has to pay the difference.
LIPA thanks Rep. Jason DeWitt for authoring this legislation and appreciates every member of the House that voted yes. Onto the senate!
