Last week, while everyone watched a shooting at the Washington Hilton…
Two other things happened that almost no one noticed…
A 59-year alliance broke.
And one of America's most powerful institutions just had a quiet but very significant piece move into place.
Both of these were dominoes I have been writing about in the Dollar Series. Both of them fell in the same week.
The full breakdown is in the new article - including why this week was bigger than almost anyone realized.

P.S. The biggest moves in geopolitics rarely arrive as headlines. They arrive as small, easy-to-miss events that only make sense if you have been watching the bigger picture.

In the Dollar Series, I showed you how the headlines are connected. This time, I want to show you something even more valuable…
Because over the next few years, this difference is going to matter more than most people realize.
In fact, it is the exact reason most people will lose.
Not because they are uninformed.
Not because they are unintelligent.
Because they miss the one distinction that actually matters.
Understanding this principle has had the biggest impact on my finances…
And I believe it will have a big impact on yours as well.
This article is not really about Trump.
It is not really about Iran.
It is about something much deeper…
How to tell the difference between what feels important…
and what actually is.
And most importantly…
How your family will benefit from learning this skill.
Article is below.

I am about to post something that most people would normally scroll right past…
It’s about your money.
It’s about Iran.
It’s about Donald Trump.
It’s about your 401(k).
It’s about the headlines you see every day.
And it is about decisions being made behind closed doors that are going to have a tremendous impact on your finances.
Not someday.
Now.
If you have found yourself wondering why we are suddenly bombing Iran…
Why the word tariff has become part of everyday conversation…
Why we are bombing cartel boats in the Caribbean…
Or why a U.S. president is saying we may take over Greenland…
These headlines that fill your feed… they all seem like a chaotic mess.
But they are much more. They are a signal.
They are a strategic financial war unfolding before your eyes…
And you need to understand it.
This is not for Republicans.
This is not for Democrats.
This is for you.
For the person who feels like something bigger is happening…
But they can’t quite put their finger on it.
Here’s the truth…
The financial world you have known your entire life… it is about to change.
Maybe for better.
Maybe for worse.
But either way…it is changing.
There is nothing you and I can do to stop it.
But there is one thing we can do:
We can prepare for it.
And we can make sure we are not the last ones to see it coming.
I run a family office. My job is to see what is coming before it arrives.
I wrote this to explain a very complicated subject in the simplest way I know how.
No fluff.
No economist language.
No boring textbook talk.
Just a clear look at what is happening behind the scenes…
who is moving the pieces…
and why it matters to your family, your future, and every dollar you work for.
This will likely be one of the most important things I have ever written.
Part 1 is below. Parts 2, 3, and 4 are in the comments.
I promise, you do not need a finance degree to understand this.
P.S. If you only read one thing I have ever posted, make it this.

The first Christian was a felon.
Not Peter.
Not Paul.
Not your pastor.
A criminal. Hanging on a cross. Hours from death.
He beat everyone to paradise.
Think about that.
Before the disciples figured out the resurrection.
Before Paul got knocked off his horse.
Before the first church was planted.
Before a single creed was written.
A thief looked at Jesus and said, “Remember me.”
And Jesus said, “Today.”
The first Christian had no church.
No baptism.
No small group.
No Bible study.
No accountability partner.
No 6-week membership class.
He had nails in his wrists and six hours to live.
The first Christian never tithed.
Never served on the worship team.
Never read a single epistle.
Never debated Calvinism vs Arminianism.
Never posted a Bible verse on his timeline.
The first Christian was a convicted criminal who couldn’t lift his hands to pray.
And he’s been in paradise for 2,000 years.
Meanwhile.
You’ve been in church for 20 years.
You’ve read the Bible cover to cover.
You’ve got the theology down cold.
You’ve memorized the Roman Road.
You can articulate penal substitutionary atonement.
And you’re still wondering if that guy who prayed last week really “got it.”
The first Christian didn’t “get it.”
He got HIM.
That’s the difference.
He didn’t understand substitution.
He didn’t understand imputation.
He didn’t understand justification by faith alone.
He understood one thing:
The man next to him was a King.
And he wanted in.
“Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.”
That’s it.
That’s the whole conversion.
No altar call.
No counseling room.
No follow-up email.
Just a criminal, a King, and a request.
And here’s the part that should wreck you:
His theology was WRONG.
“When you come into your kingdom.”
He thought Jesus was about to take an earthly throne.
He didn’t understand the resurrection.
He didn’t understand the ascension.
He didn’t understand the second coming.
He got the timeline completely wrong.
And Jesus saved him anyway.
He didn’t correct his eschatology.
Didn’t hand him a doctrinal statement.
Didn’t say, “Well actually…”
He just said, “Today.”
The first Christian had bad theology and a good King.
Some of you have great theology and no King at all.
You know every doctrine.
You can defend every position.
You’ve won every argument.
And you’ve never once said “remember me” like you meant it.
The first Christian wasn’t impressive.
He was desperate.
And desperation got him further than your diploma.
2,000 years of church history.
Councils. Creeds. Confessions.
Seminaries. Denominations. Debates.
And the first one through the door was a dying criminal who couldn’t even fold his hands.
Makes you wonder if we’ve overcomplicated this.
The first Christian didn’t have a platform.
Didn’t have a following.
Didn’t have a ministry.
Didn’t have a book deal.
Didn’t have a podcast.
He had a cross and a question.
And that was enough.
You scrolling through X right now with your Reformed credentials and your theological hot takes…
The guy who beat you to paradise couldn’t read.
He didn’t know the five solas.
He didn’t know the five points.
He didn’t know the four spiritual laws.
He knew one thing:
He was dying.
And so was Jesus.
And Jesus was still a King.
That’s faith.
Not a system. A surrender.
Not knowledge. Recognition.
Not performance. Desperation.
The first Christian.
A felon.
A failure.
A man with hours to live and nothing to offer.
And he’s been home longer than anyone.
What’s your excuse?
I listened to Erika Kirk’s full speech at the memorial, and I want to share a few thoughts that came to me while live streaming the event. This is not political.
First, I should say that I grew up as a Muslim in a Muslim country. I don’t know enough about Christianity to say if what I witnessed is rooted in faith or culture. But what struck me most was how, even though death is heavy and this was by nature a sad occasion, the entire event carried a celebratory spirit that honored life.
That contrast hit me deeply. In Islam, even though we believe that good people go to heaven, the relationship with God is taught through fear. Funerals are overwhelmingly sad, often filled with warnings of the terrifying first night in the grave. Growing up hearing that, and then witnessing people celebrate life, speak of God’s love, and remember someone through the impact he had on others; it felt so refreshing, so positive.
Second, I was profoundly moved by @MrsErikaKirk’s words. I cannot fathom the strength it takes to stand and deliver such a meaningful speech after losing the love of your life. But even more than that, the grace it takes to forgive the very person who destroyed your world. I cannot imagine myself standing on a stage, sending love to those who cheered your husband’s murder, or inviting others to spread God’s love in response because, as she said, “we do not respond to hate with hate.” That is powerful beyond words.
Again, I am ignorant when it comes to Christianity, but if this is what it truly embodies, then I am envious of those who get to experience that feeling.
Van, this wasn’t easy to share. I disagree with so much of what you say but I have such respect for you for doing this. I wish you both would have had the opportunity to sit down for that open dialogue because “when the dialogue stops, that’s when violence begins.”Charlie Kirk
I'm gay and Jewish and this is the safest and most loving group of people in the country.
If this is what leads our country into the future, I will stand with you and support it the whole way.
@TaraBull808 This company is a different company with a similar name and is mistakenly being hit with 1 star reviews.
You should use your reach to make sure that this company is not unfairly taken down.
The company you posted about is Evolution Electrical… it is not electric and solar.
Wouldn’t a clerical error on basic mortgage documents be enough “cause” that if Lisa Cook makes mistakes on certifications of her mortgages, what clerical mistakes might she makes on deciding our country’s monetary policy.
If someone can’t fill out their own paperwork, I am not sure I want them filling out paperwork on my behalf as a US citizen. @realDonaldTrump
@Avis has got to be the worst rental car company. After 45 minutes of waiting, I asked what the plan is.
Their rep said, “if you don’t like waiting, go to a different company.”
As you get older, you’ll realize that the $200 dinner and the $10 meal satisfy the same hunger.
The designer sunglasses block the same sun as the gas station pair.
A private jet and a middle seat both land at the same airport.
A Tesla and a Toyota sit in the same traffic.
True peace is not found in luxury or labels.
Stay kind and grateful.
The sunset looks the same no matter how much you paid to see it.
For me, the final straw when I just couldn’t take it anymore was Kamala refusing to go unscripted on the @joeroganhq podcast.
Everyone has that final “What the hell?!” moment before they bail on the left.
Looks like @jonstewart is just about there.
