Our LGBT veterans are an important part of the defence community. Today @BWallaceMP apologised to those affected by historic LGBT Armed Forces policies. These policies do not reflect todayโs military, and we are proud to be a military where everyone is welcome.

Today, 23 years after the UK Armed Forces' #LGBT ban was lifted, @Fightingwpride & @Northern_Hub@NorthumbriaUni held the 1st UK Annual Research Conference reporting on the impacts of the ban, with huge thanks to the amazing veterans, presenters & 37 organisations who took part!
