Why did Republicans KILL Live Video of Senate Proceedings? Interview with Senator Mike Moon!
Intro: 0:00-3:49 Interview: 3:49-21:10 Why did Moon’s Resolution get tabled?: 10:12-21:10 Outro: 21:10-23:14
After my Flock Camera Speech went viral, I decided to come up with a solution instead of just complaining online about it, so I drafted a resolution to prohibit Flock Cameras in Saint Charles. The Resolution is number 17-76, because 1776 is the answer to 1984 🇺🇸💯
This week, The Missouri First Podcast meets The Robb Carter Show. Here is the whole segment of Jake Jackson and Robb talking about Flock Cameras, Data Centers, Missouri Politics, Trump and the Iran War in this 50 minute segment!
Today on the @TheRobbCarter show I discussed how I got into the Flock Camera issue and why I spoke out against it! I first got into the Flock Camera issue because of @IkeSkeltonForMO!
Headline: Transparency isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a requirement.
A huge thank you to Robb Carter for his recent coverage of the Missouri Senate’s lack of transparency. Robb perfectly highlights the issue we faced when we requested a video of a standing vote to see which senators supported a public video feed and which ones didn’t. Instead of clear footage, we were met with a "blackout" at the most critical moment.
As Robb mentioned, our team works tirelessly to do the "homework" for the people of Missouri, but we can't do it alone. If you value this kind of advocacy and investigative work, please consider supporting us.

🚨EXPOSED: The Missouri Senate edited out the roll call on a live-streaming bill so you couldn’t see who voted against letting the public watch.
Thanks to @ActforMissouri for obtaining the footage.

Headline: Transparency Killed in the Dark? 🌑
We’ve been tracking SR 668, the rule that would finally require video feeds of Missouri Senate proceedings. But look at what happened when the resolution actually hit the floor for debate.
The Maneuver:
Senator Mary Elizabeth Coleman interrupted the debate to move that the issue be tabled. Because an amendment was under consideration, she had to make two separate motions:
1️⃣ One to table the amendment.
2️⃣ One to table the entire debate on the rule.
The Result:
By "tabling" these items, the transparency rule is now effectively dead for the session. It would take a massive 2/3 vote to ever bring it back to the floor.
The Blackout: 📹
We made a sunshine request for the video of this moment so everyone could see who is standing against transparency in the Senate. But watch what happens: As soon as the Senate moves to a Standing Division vote on these motions, the video feed goes pitch black.
The audio remains. You can hear the count. You can hear the debate end. But you cannot see which Senators stood up to kill the transparency rule and which ones stood to save it.
Why is the Senate cutting the feed during the most pivotal votes of the year? If they are proud of their vote to table transparency, why can't we see them do it?
Is this what you voted for? Is this acceptable? Please leave your thoughts in the comments. Let's let them see how Missouri feels about this behavior.

@MissouriGOP party platform specifically states "keeping & enforcing the Hancock Amendment & electing officials who respect its goals & principles".
HJR 173/174 Income tax resolution attacks these goals & principles.
How many #moleg#mosen GOP voted against the platform?
HB 2379 is another example of Republicans not acting like Republicans.
The bill may be aimed at St. Louis-area early childhood tax revenue, but that should be the first warning sign. If this is a local issue, why is the State Legislature stepping in to create a broader government-controlled funding structure?
HB 2379 creates a new Early Childhood Education Fund, gives a board broad control over the money, and bypasses existing safeguards in Missouri law that limit who can receive children’s services funds and what those funds can be used for.
This is not limited government.
This is not protecting taxpayers.
This is not keeping government in its proper lane.
Families, churches, private providers, and local communities should lead in caring for young children — not another tax-funded board with expanded authority.
Missouri voters need to stop asking whether there is an “R” next to the name and start asking whether they actually govern like Republicans.

Episode 2 of The Missouri First Podcast is coming later this week. I will be joined by Ike Skelton For State Senate to discuss our constitutional rights, Data Centers, Flock Cameras and what it really means to be a Conservative.
We are the richest country in the world, but we’re telling moms that we DON’T have money to help them, but we have $5 billion to send to Israel.
That ends if I am Florida’s Governor.
@mama_aries2 Let them dig their own graves. Anyone with a brain sees that giving government more power to tax is not small government, conservative, nor is it a tax cut in anyway.
I have been Nicks greatest ally for years. I have never once criticized him and I’m on the record defending him on social media from others in the grassroots. I simply asked him why he voted to kill an important rule change, and he responded like a child, and lied to me. He’s only dragging himself through the mud. The way he voted didn’t make him my enemy. The way he responded to my questions did. He straight up lied to me and personally attacked me for asking questions.
I totally agree with you Ace. I personally believe that We, the People should come together in the form of a non-centralized movement based on common interests and beliefs. I believe that we are stronger together than apart!
@mama_aries2 Collectivism and ideologies are why we are in the mess that we currently are as a state and a nation
Nobody has the right to control another person's life even when we do disagree with things
@Cheri_Angel1@mama_aries2 I totally agree with you Ace. I personally believe that We, the People should come together in the form of a non-centralized movement based on common interests and beliefs. I believe that we are stronger together than apart.
