Question for the manufacturing corner of X, specifically pointed toward those who work in additive manufacturing, castings, weldments, etc.

Do you regularly contract out or have a need for industrial CT scanning and/or XRay (Computed Radiographic) services?

It is a basic requirement of anyone who takes on the personal responsibility of armed defense of one’s self and others to seek training and practice the skillsets required to be successful in that pursuit.

Simply taking untrained individuals (teachers or not), placing a firearm in their hand and expecting them to be able to effectively navigate the complexities and chaos of an active shooter situation is asinine.

This type of content is only designed to inflame emotional reactions and has no relevance to the effectiveness of placing a TRAINED and armed individual in the path of someone who wishes to do harm to innocent individuals.

We designed, patented and are in the process of producing a drop in replacement for the OEM sear and safety which converts the manual safety from a trigger block to a trigger/sear block.

In the OEM design, the sear is free to move even when the manual safety is engaged (as demonstrated in the OP video and the demo video in the TFB article). With the upgraded components, the sear is physically blocked from moving down thereby preventing the striker from being released with the safety engaged.

Most of the time it is because those who are creating the drawing have never cracked the pages of a Y14.5 standard. They see the symbols in their CAD package and think it’s a good idea to use them but have no clue what they actually mean or how they are to be interpreted and applied in practice.

The Engineer needs to consider the interactions between the component and others in the application, how the person fabricating the part (regardless of process) will use the GD&T as a guide to make a functional part and how the metrologist will then set the part up to inspect it.

If they don’t have that broader picture in mind, they will end up creating datum structures which are meaningless or impossible to establish and use callouts improperly or in ways which are unnecessary to the application.

In that case, shops will see the jumbled garbage on the page and either throw out a FU price or no quote it all together.

Should have started by saying I’m not a lawyer but I am involved in doing work as an expert witness. My guess is he was given a subpoena to appear for a deposition as part of an ongoing investigation. Not sure if he is the subject of the investigation or just a witness. If he does admit to something that is a crime under oath, that could be a problem for him though.

@RifeTechnology Objections in depositions like this are typically directed at the form of the question and will be a placeholder to preserve the ability for the attorney representing the individual being deposed to have that question stricken from the deposition in future proceedings
