This preemption effort is an absolute necessity. Such a transformative technology cannot be picked apart by every layer of government, seeking crazy demands, imposing indefensible burdens, and attempting to extract obscene tax bounties.

Arguably, @fcc “won” this case but government conceded much in briefs/oral arguments that it effectively and thankfully guts entire broken process. Why would anyone pay a future forfeiture notice? It’s just a recommendation. Court says FCC wont hold nonpayment against parties.
