As we celebrate #WorldEarthDay today, it reminds us of our duty towards Mother Earth. It is heartening to share with you that in January 2020 the MHA decided to undertake a nationwide plantation drive through our CAPFs. Under this mission all the 7 CAPFs with their total strength of 9.69 lakh personnel planted 7 crore saplings in the last six years, making our planet a bit more green. No matter what role we are in, our contributions make the difference we want to see.

#WATCH | Assam: At the 87th CRPF Day Parade in Guwahati, Union Home Minister Amit Shah says, "Stone pelting incidents in Kashmir have become zero. Industries are coming up, and development is taking place. CRPF, BSF and especially Jammu & Kashmir Police have a huge contribution in this. But CRPF has done a lot of work there, too. To restore peace in the North Eastern states, and recently, when ethnic violence took place in Manipur, the CRPF had to be deployed there to control the ethnic violence."
