This week the Ladybird Class went to the church and took part in a wedding celebration. There were a number of brides and grooms as well as a Best Man who had to look after the rings. It was such a wonderful experience and we all enjoyed cake and dancing afterwards!

.... In our English lessons the children were introduced to the story 'Toby and The Great Fire of London.' They spent the week learning to read a text map of Toby's diary. They did a fabulous job!

.....We began the week by watching Magic Grandad where the children watched the drama of the events of the fire unfold. It was lovely to see their enthusiasm for this topic unfold....

In Year 1 the children have begun their new topic: Bright Lights, Big City. They have been very excited to learn all about the events of The Great Fire of London which the adults have introduced to the children through our History and English Lessons.....
