What a 5 years it’s been at @WTKlab. This was my first postdoc and during my time here I got married, had a child, COVID happened, and I met too many wonderful people to count. I will always remember this as a very special place and time, but it’s now time to continue my journey.

1/3 Fantastic news from @NHSEngland today about offering Pembrolizumb to triple negative breast cancer patients. This drug stops cancers hiding away from the immune system and will be potentially life saving for these patients.

2/3 But there is still a need to continually improve what we can offer to patients, especially in terms of better, more effective therapies and earlier detection, so that we can get to these tumours while they’re still manageable.
