The day in Singapore has come to an end.
We spent it at the Hack Seasons Conference by @mpost_io, a vibrant event that Mercuryo co-sponsored.
Here are the highlights of our team in the photo dump below 📸
Building the full-stack for tokenised markets
fireside chat diving into how to build the operating system for tokenised markets.
this is the full @turtledotxyz vision 🐢
Great discussion at HSC Asset Management on “Where the Money Goes in Crypto” with Ciara Sun, Kelvin Koh and Zurab Kazhiloti, moderated by Nikita Sachdev.
A sharp conversation on where capital is flowing and what’s next for the industry.
Action continues at TOKEN2049! 🚀
The second panel for Mercuryo today, and this time Ashna Vaghela (@ashtokyo) stepped on stage for the discussion "The Payment Rails of 2030" by @mpost_io
It explored what institutions actually need before they move payments onchain: regulatory clarity, reliable settlement, and rails that connect seamlessly to the card networks and banking systems they already use.
Thanks to all the speakers for a conversation that went beyond the usual points:
- Jesse Guild of @Mastercard
- Declan Hannon (@declan_hannon) of @auroraisnear
- Edwin Cheung (@cheungedwin) of @Gate
- Jeffrey Tchui (@jtchui_abroad) of @hashgraph
- Nitin Gaur (@nitingaur) of @Nethermind
Never thought I shake hands so elegantly. 😂
Had a good chat about the benefits of tokenisation (yet again:)) with my fellow panellists from @animocabrands, @coinroutes, @Figment_io and Atlas Capital.

🦾 @SuiNetwork tunnels processed 40,614,180 transactions per second, settled on Sui mainnet in a live, high-stress test at Sui Basecamp in Singapore, surpassing the 20M TPS target and the July 4 record of 6,086,766 TPS by more than 6 times.
The throughput was achieved via #Sui tunnels, programmable offchain channels that settle to Sui mainnet when closed. More than 10,000 tunnels were opened gaslessly and offchain across categories from chat to games to payments.
@CertiK, serving as independent auditor, will examine all associated data and publish a report in the coming days.
It has been an incredibly full day.
At midday, I joined representatives from several organizations, including @Tether and @galaxyhq, at HSC for an in-depth discussion on the digital economy: what we are still missing, and where our priorities should lie next.
I am grateful to @mpost_io for their support, and to my fellow panelists for sharing such thoughtful insights.
Later, I sat down for two interviews, one with @crypto_banter and another with @Cointelegraph at LONGITUDE.
The questions varied, but the core focus stayed the same: what role should an exchange play for traders? And looking ahead to 2027 and beyond, as crypto trading becomes mainstream, what kind of exchange will traders actually need? I also shared a first look at what’s next for Bitbase, so stay tuned for the final footage.
Tomorrow is our ONWARD Yacht Party. I’m ready to set sail with @Bitbase_Ex.

📊 @cryptoquant_com analyst @Darkfost_Coc noted that total #Bitcoin demand is back in positive territory at more than 14,000 $BTC, even as the price continues to fall, with $BTC down 1.5% over the past day to around $83,000.
"While many only watch Bitcoin's price action, I continue to track the evolution of demand," he wrote, adding that spot demand has improved markedly and now stands at -17,000 $BTC. It is still slightly negative, but well above its -207,000 $BTC level of September 20.
On the futures side, demand has remained relatively stable in recent days, averaging 32,000 $BTC. In Darkfost's view, "price is falling while demand is showing up, which is a positive setup."
The agentic economy has been one of the main topics at every event we've attended this year, and this one was no exception.
Arthur Firstov (@soultaker_eth) took the stage at the HSC Conference by @mpost_io to discuss the shift from AI agents that assist to AI agents that transact, and the security and controls needed before businesses can trust them with real budgets.
It was a pleasure to exchange opinions with other speakers:
- Tomer Sharoni (@TomerSharoni), Co-Founder & CEO at @addressableid
- Feroz Lakhani, Head of Marketing & AI Product at @SonicLabs
- Takatoshi Shibayama (@taka_shibayama), Head of APAC at @ledger_business
- Michael Wu (@MichaelWuAmber), Founder & CEO at @ambr_io
- Terrence (@tpcookingai), Web3 Lead at @PingCAP
🚀 @ethereum's Glamsterdam upgrade is running on a public test network with a processing budget more than three times its previous level, as developers test changes intended to give the #blockchain room for more payments and trades.
The upgrade activated Tuesday on Sepolia, and by early Thursday blocks were being produced with a limit near 200M gas, up from about 60M before the change.
A review of over 25 consecutive test blocks found they used roughly 52M to 92M gas each, about 26% to 46% of their available allowance. None ran close to full, which is where the larger budget would put the most strain on the computers running the network.
Hoodi, the next public test network, is tentatively set for October 27 pending the Sepolia results, and Ethereum's mainnet has no activation date.
💬 @Payward, the parent company of #crypto exchange @krakenfx, is in talks to become a crypto liquidity provider to @WellsFargo.
Under the potential deal, #Payward would supply liquidity for trading in crypto assets. Talks are ongoing and may not result in a deal.
The discussions suggest major banks are increasingly turning to established crypto companies to support their digital asset ambitions, helped by a friendlier US regulatory environment.
