If you run Nethermind on Hoodi, upgrade to 2.2.1 before 26 Oct.

On today’s All Core Devs call, client teams postponed the Glamsterdam fork on Hoodi to review a change to its specification. A new date will follow.

Meanwhile, upgrade your Hoodi node now: https://t.co/odo4lZAkDI

Stellar Private Payments hides who paid whom and how much on Stellar, with onboarding screening, freezes, and auditor disclosure built in.

We built it for @StellarOrg. It’s open source, on testnet, with SDKs in alpha. Presenting at Meridian in Lisbon on Oct 28.

One would see this and think it is just for Hoodi fork readiness. then you look at performance, and this version is faster than the previous one by around 45%.
Just @Nethermind team doing Nethermind things.

Nethermind's @svlachakis_ co-authored Frame Transactions (EIP-8141) for the Hegotá upgrade, planned for 2027.

What Frame Transactions change:
An app can pay a user’s fee and get paid back in a stablecoin like USDC. Smart wallets can let users sign with a phone passkey or change their key without moving funds. Wallets do this today with extra offchain services. With Frame Transactions, Ethereum supports this directly.

We’ve built them into the Nethermind Client. See how they work in the video below.

Performance push was really important in unlocking the 30M gas limit, and now Glamsterdam is coming with another performance unlock.

Now, the @Nethermind team is on a new mission: helping bring post-quantum security to Ethereum.

[Nethermind @Nethermind]

We want Ethereum’s rollups to work as one network. That’s why we’re building @etheconomiczone support into the Nethermind Client.

[Stavros Vlachakis @svlachakis_]

We successfully tested @Nethermind's standalone Rollup0 prover with the @etheconomiczone composer, including L1 proof acceptance and restart/recovery.

One step closer to a public EEZ testnet with multiple prover clients!

Our team spent most of the year working on Ethereum’s roadmap, and still made Nethermind significantly faster.
Kamil on what’s next for us:

[Kamil Chodoła @ChodoKamil]

Over the past few months, the @Nethermind Client team has been focusing on almost everything BUT performance - authoring, supporting and reviewing EIPs for Glamsterdam, championing Hegota headliner - Frame Transactions, researching state bloat, and much more.

That's not changing - we are still being heavily involved in Ethereum roadmap. But AI has unlocked a whole new level of productivity for us, and we're now pushing hard on several fronts:

1. zk guest program - coming soon to @eth_proofs. Very promising, very performant.
2. RPC refresh - Geth compatibility, major performance improvements, and more. Few projects already got a feeling of what we are shipping - and it is looking very good.
3. Client hardening with AI - Node MCP for users and our custom CoreMCP for developers, helping us ship faster and build a much more stable client.
4. Innovative node optimizations and advanced plugins - unlocking capabilities that could be extremely useful for many projects across the ecosystem, including support for new chains.

And that's just the beginning.

As a "side effect," we've also significantly improved the node's performance at the tip of the chain - before even getting into the Glamsterdam hard fork, which should unlock a whole new level of throughput.

Nethermind is the fastest #Ethereum execution client, and the only one pushing beyond 1.5 GGas/s in p50 block throughput at the tip of the chain.

With the next fork, we expect that ceiling to go even higher - based on Sepolia data, potentially around 3x higher.

And we're definitely not done.

We want to change the rules of the game. The AI-powered tools we've built in-house are giving us enormous leverage, and we're confident this advantage will only grow over time.

Performance is good. 🚀

[Nethermind @Nethermind]

Nethermind Client 2.2.0 is out. For RPC providers: faster responses that use less memory, and faster tracing on Glamsterdam blocks.

Mandatory for Hoodi nodes before the Glamsterdam fork on Oct 26. https://t.co/EZCiQyAZi4

[Devcon 8 | Mumbai, India 🇮🇳 @EFDevcon]

We're excited to welcome @Nethermind as a Devcon 8 supporter!

From maintaining one of Ethereum’s most widely used execution clients to advancing protocol security, Nethermind helps build & strengthen the infra the ecosystem relies on.

See you in Mumbai, Nethermind community!

[Ben {chmark} Adams ⟠ @ben_a_adams]

I have a games industry background, where everything needs to fit within 16.67ms to hit 60fps

That mindset has carried over into other work

So now @Nethermind processes Ethereum mainnet blocks in 16ms at p50, on standard EIP-7870 hardware

@HackingBaseball Fastest part of Ethereum network is C#

[Kamil Chodoła @ChodoKamil]

Already 55% of @Nethermind nodes on #Ethereum mainnet migrated to v2 version!

11% of nodes are on new FlatDb design and number keeps growing!

Consider migration - FlatDb gives a lot of great improvements.

⚠️HalfPath will be deprecated once adoption of Flat will be big enough.

Tokenizing a fund shouldn't mean a second operation for the same asset. @nitingaur on tokenization's biggest risk.

Bedrock is built for that on public networks: the bank's rules, enforced by its own node, running the Nethermind client.

This might not be widely known, but @Nethermind improvements don’t just benefit our client.

Other clients often follow our lead and adopt the same changes, so we’re raising the performance bar across the entire Ethereum and EVM ecosystem. 👇

[Łukasz Rozmej @URozmej]

BAL's + @Nethermind crazy optimization in action on Sepolia. Expect even bigger throughput numbers when Block sizes rise up to 200MGas (and more!)

[Kamil Chodoła @ChodoKamil]

Glamsterdam hardfork is starting to unfold the real performance of #Ethereum. 🔥
Sepolia gas limit: 60M → 120M

@Nethermind execution throughput followed: from ~600 MGas/s to peaks around 1,600 MGas/s - nearly 3x.

And the gas limit is still heading towards 200M. 👀
