@KYMaverickreal How can they keep hammering she asked for her lawyer when that’s her right? I remember the CW wanted to introduce evidence that Karen read googled dui lawyers and they didn’t allow it bc it’s her right. So how and why is it allowed now?
@benchslappedtv Yes! All of this!
Regardless of where anyone sits with it all, it comes down to was she suffering the mental deficiency AT THE TIME of the murders to know right from wrong? Bring on the experts!
@KYMaverickreal I was surprised to see a Dr wear a chambray sundress to court too. Meanwhile, the next two nurses wore business attire. Pair that with the unpreparedness, while not admitting the pt was critical yet needed more care than they could provide makes her unreliable.
She was transferred to a more expansive hospital. She was in the ICU, she coded and needed a transfusion but we are still arguing about wounds being superficial.
I don’t understand why they are focusing on this. Make it make sense @LawyerYouKnow
@j3nnyb00m Definitely noticed that too! it’s also a way to continue to humanize her in front of the jury. It will be easy for them to villainize her but this sends a “victim not villain” message. Regardless of how anyone feels about the outcome, he has been an A+ lawyer.
@VeuveVW@defense_diaries@iAmTheRoKK Totally agree! The sentence shouldn’t even be discussed in the jury inst. Subliminal messaging happening here. Curious if the D can argue that the portion referring to sentencing be removed? Or is it a mandatory “instruction” even tho it’s not even an instr?
