The BBC followed the story of in-laws, Lesley and Chris, as Lesley saved her son-in-law’s life by donating her kidney.

Apparently it’s tradition for the transplant registrar to take a picture with the islet cells when doing an islet cell transplant at @MRITransplant so here is said picture 🤷🏻‍♀️ operating is cool, but it’s not every day you get to agitate cells into a portal vein!
