@crewedave1@eV_Newt@GBNEWS I run two EVs. One I do 1000 miles a month in. Peanuts compared to what I was paying before - so plenty of wiggle room to pay more tax. I was paying £40 a week on just one car before!
@MDewah@whychrisstevens@neilmwhite@anectdotey What? There isn’t just one charger 🤣. Plus sat nav tells me how many are free before I get there. So if it’s 1/12 used it’s unlikely 11 cars are going to arrive in the next 10 minutes.
@whychrisstevens@neilmwhite@anectdotey Modern EVs tell you which charger to stop at to maximise your route and how many are available. Been driving EVs 3 years now and never had to wait for a charger. Also you only charge enough to get home/your destination. Max 15 mins charge.
@chris_linetty@neilmwhite Why do anti-EVers always go so dramatic? Mate no one is driving to RomeX, they’re going to Tesco and the office. 🤣. 0.3% of EVs ever require a battery change. Stop hating.
A Restore Britain Government will allow pub landlords and other venue owners to install a smoking room.
If adults want to smoke inside a contained room, and the landlord is happy to provide that, then it's none of our business.
Crack on.
Who agrees that if you’ve paid into your state pension all your working life you should receive a much higher amount than those who’ve not paid a penny?
